CEO Job Description
Position involves an initial acquisition search phase in which the executive will work with the company to develop a business plan and identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities in a targeted industry, conduct necessary due diligence on the acquisition target, and then following the closing of an acquisition, assume the CEO position and associated responsibilities for the acquired company.

The company is a Midwest-based private equity firm with over $1 billion in capital with a focus on investments in a variety of industries, including an emphasis on business services and consumer services. The company typically invests $50 to $100 million per investment. The company's CEO sponsorship program allows CEOs with a proven track record to work with the company to build their business plans and seek acquisition candidates, with the company providing the necessary capital to fund an acquisition.

Position Requirements/Qualifications  
- Previous experience as CEO or general manager of a service provider, with full P&L responsibility.
- A proven track record of successfully building a service provider, as CEO, to $500 million or more in sales.
- Entrepreneurial, with the executive having already identified specific acquisitions or a specific industry or market segment to target acquisitions in.
- Ability to build a complete and strong management team.
- Acquisition experience.
